The four line items
Every private wine tour is these four costs and nothing else.
- Vehicle and chauffeur — the largest item, priced by hours and capacity, not by mileage.
- Tasting fees — $25–$45 per person per winery, paid at each room.
- Food — $40–$90 per person for a village lunch, or $25–$40 for estate boards.
- Gratuity — 18–20% on the transport, plus tasting-room staff.

These figures assume a six-hour private tour with three tastings and one food stop, departing from Long Island.
- 2–4 guests, luxury SUV — $210–$280 per person.
- 5–8 guests, Sprinter — $165–$225 per person.
- 9–14 guests, executive van or small coach — $140–$190 per person.
- 15+ guests, party bus or coach — $115–$160 per person.
What moves the number
Manhattan pickups add two to three vehicle hours. Peak Saturdays in September and October carry a seasonal premium. Beyond that, the biggest lever is duration — going from six hours to eight adds roughly a third to the transport line without adding much to the day.
